At the Cabarfeidh Hotel our chefs love to celebrate the best of Scottish and Hebridean produce. Hebridean langoustines and scallops are firm favourites and well worth sampling, as is the Scottish braised blade of beef, Leurbost mussels and Stornoway black pudding. Our chefs source as much of our food as possible from local and Scottish suppliers, using the finest seasonal ingredients to ensure you have the very best dining experience.
Fish varieties will vary according to catches and are offered alongside a variety of creative and well presented meat and vegan dishes. Menus change regularly to reflect the seasons and availability of ingredients.
Cleaver Seafood and Grill
Our newly rebranded Cleaver Seafood & Grill (formerly Solas) is firmly focused on showcasing the very best of Scotlands larder. Here you will find local Leurbost Mussels, cider battered haddock and Isle of Harris scallops sitting alongside Scottish braised blade of beef and panfried duck breast, in addition to a mouth watering vegan menu.
There is a carefully selected range of wines to complement the food, offering the same combination of the highest possible quality and good value, and our friendly staff are always on hand if you need some advice on wine pairing.
Parties up to 20 guests may be comfortably accommodated in a luxurious private dining area of Cleaver Restaurant. The location is luxuriously appointed and ideal for a business dinner, a family celebration or perhaps a small wedding reception.
Alternatively, all of the hotel’s banqueting suites are available for parties of between around 20 and 180 guests to be catered for by Cleavers’ staff.
