Solas
is the
Cabarfeidh's new restaurant, offering three creative eating options. A
fine dining area offering classic cuisine, a brasserie with
imaginative, modern menus and a cafe serving home-made patisserie,
gelati ice cream plus speciality tea and coffee.
Great
importance is placed on the use of fresh produce, including Hebridean
shellfish and other seafoods, island raised Angus beef and Lewis lamb,
as well as other seasonal delicacies.
Locally
harvested scallops - divers collect them by hand, which is reckoned to
provide the best flavour (as does using creel caught langoustines,
rather than trawled ones).
